Changtian Primary School area is the home to Miao and Li minorities. With inadequate transportation and limited resources, the area is among the poorest place in Hainan. It took about 3 hours to get to the school from Boao, and nearly an hour was spent in the muddy country road. Changtian Primary School is one of the four schools BFA members and sponsors donated at the BFA Annual Conference 2006.
